How to Prepare for IGNOU BEd Entrance Exam 2019: IGNOU allows admission in B.Ed of only those students who have successfully qualified IGNOU B.Ed entrance examination. B. Ed entrance is conducted twice times in a year’s time by IGNOU. Students who wish to appear in IGNOU B.Ed entrance exam must have successfully scored a minimum of 55% of marks in graduation from any certified university/college.

Students who wish to score good marks must essentially learn 10,000 vocabularies. Students are supposed to daily read and solve previous years question papers. In order to improve English and vocabulary, it is also recommended to read two English newspapers and authors articles and editorials daily. This will improve the standard of English which is a very important factor when it comes to the B.Ed entrance examination.

In 2018 B.Ed examination total 100 questions will be asked which students have to answer within 120 minutes time duration. The total marks allotted to paper are 100 marks. IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam Eligibility:

1.Bachelor Degree or a higher degree with fifty (50%) per cent marks from a recognized university. However, teachers appointed prior to the commencement of NCTE Regulation, Norms and Procedures, second amendment regulation dated 30.3.2018 the requirement of 50% marks shall not apply.
2. The programme is available to only serving teachers with two years (2 years) teaching experience in a Government or Government Recognized School. There is no age bar for admission to the B.Ed programme. The duration of the programme is two years and the medium of instruction is English & Hindi.
3. The reservation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central/State Government whichever is applicable. There shall be the relaxation of 5% marks for them. Candidates who appeared in the qualifying examination (Bachelor/higher degree) and the result are awaited can also apply.
