What is the Scope of Certificate in Indigenous art practices from IGNOU 2018
The IGNOU CIAP program aims to provide and enhance traditional as well as contemporary artistic skills to learners to candidates belonging to aboriginal community or who are self identified indigenous ancestry. The scope for a candidate with the certificate of CIAP is ample which means he/she is provided with career opportunities that will honor their natural artistic gifts and also brighten their professional career as well.
The objective is to preserve the traditional form of Guru and Shishya form of learning which is vanishing and the art forms that come under folk, tribal, martial arts, and the oral traditions. Government has taken upon itself the work to preserve and help others recognize the rich and varied traditions of our culture.
After completing the course one can find IGNOU Jobs in government agencies, and private agencies who are interested to promote traditional folk art. The salary earned can be anywhere around Rs. 8, 000 approximately a month.
